  4. This piece of software should help you, to convert your audio data to
  5. other audio formats than PCM (pulse code modulation). Depending on the
  6. audio codecs installed on your system, its possible to compress speech
  7. without significant quality loss (e.g. using the TrueSpeech codec
  8. shipped with Win95/WinNT) or to compress music using the MPEG layer 3
  9. codec delivered with Microsoft NetShow 2.0.

  12. Problems (not bugs)
  13. -------------------

  15. - don't choose the buffer size too small, or some audio codecs won't
  16.   convert anything.
  17. - the "Delrina Sample Rate Converter" codec shipped with WinFax Pro 8.0
  18.   has errors and you'll get an access violation fault if this codec is
  19.   not deactivated.
  20. - using a resolution of 640x480 won't show all of the window
  21.   (but I think that nobody still uses such a resolution anyway).
